A biblical foundation for giving
From the first tithe to cheerful generosity, Scripture shows giving as an act of worship and faithfulness.
Jesus mentions the tithe alongside justice, mercy and faithfulness. Paul also teaches that our attitude toward giving should be cheerful and generous.
