FACILITIES
The International Bible Center campus consists of 20
buildings situated on 10 acres atop Hallelujah Hill.
The IBC campus includes an impressive three-story structure
with a commanding view of the city. It houses the business
and executive offices as well as apartments for community
residents.
Central to the campus is the multi-level learning center.
The learning center houses the classrooms, gymnasium,
library, faculty offices, kitchen and cafeteria. The
300-seat chapel also is located in the learning center. It
is where special meetings and International Bible Church
services are held.
The men’s and women’s dormitories are “homes away from home”
for residential students. Each dormitory has a spacious
living room area and laundry facilities. Affordable housing
is available on campus for rent to students with families.

McKinstry Library houses one of the largest collections of
biblical and theological studies representing the
evangelical charismatic traditions in the city. The library
serves as an asset to students of local Bible institutes and
church training classes and is available to students in San
Antonio colleges and universities.
The library contains a comprehensive collection of more than
30,000 volumes of standard works in the fields which IBC
offers training. Students have access to the computer lab
for research and assignment projects. Students have access
to periodicals, videos, CD-ROM and Internet services for
research.
Several special collections in the research section,
especially the Pentecostal Heritage Collection, prove
helpful to students’ research.
IBC is a participating member of CORAL (Council of Research
and Academic Libraries of San Antonio) and San Antonio
Public Library’s Interlibrary Loan Service. Students in good
standing with McKinstry Library are able to check out
resources in many local libraries and also have access to
libraries nationwide.

A UNIQUE
CITY
Founded in the 18th
century by settlers from the Canary Islands, San Antonio has
become one of the four truly unique cities in the United
States.
The old-world charm of its Spanish and Mexican heritage may
be seen in such attractions as the Spanish Missions, the
Spanish Gover¬nor’s Palace, the Old Farmer’s Market and the
Alamo. The San Antonio River, meandering its way through the
downtown business district, has one of the world’s most
beautiful river walks. Additional points of interest are the
Tower of the Americas, Institute of Texan Cultures, Sea
World, Fiesta Texas and the Alamodome.
Education is important in San Antonio. There are five
universi¬ties in the city: Our Lady of the Lake University,
University of the Incarnate Word, St. Mary’s Univer¬sity,
Trinity University and the University of Texas at San
Antonio. In addition, there are several liberal arts
colleges and ministerial training schools.
The presence of five major military bases, plus its close
proximity to the Mexican border, combine to give San Antonio
an international atmosphere and opportunity for
cross-cultural experience. This at¬mosphere and a mild
climate make San Antonio an ideal location for a training
school for Christian youth from across the nation.
